Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at the Med Surg Unit 1! As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care services to patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.This is a rewarding role that requires a compassionate and skilled nurse who can provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Maintains accurate records and reports on patient progress and treatment plans
• Delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using established criteria
Qualifications
BLS certification, RN license from the State of Ohio, and BSN degree required within five years of employment- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
