Description
Summary : This position is responsible for the programmatic development of the Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Program at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Programmatic development consists of care coordination and outreach management. Care coordination responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the clinical management of specialized multidisciplinary care pathways. Outreach management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organized communication between care continuum stakeholders (e. g physician specialists, primary and consulting physicians, other healthcare facilities, EMS, and System Service Lines). Other duties include research, education, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of annual strategic objectives.
