Summary : The Senior Consultant Academic Partnerships is an integral member of the Workforce Development team. The Senior Consultant is an expert in academic partnerships who will build strong relationships with academic institutions and within OhioHealth, connecting students to career pathways through multiple opportunities within OhioHealth including internships, clinical placements, special programs, etc. This individual will also be a liaison along the career pathway to communicate gaps between curriculum and clinical skills and to gather feedback and influence processes to ensure the student has a great experience. This high-level position requires an extensive communication skill set to proactively identify department and organization needs, assist in setting priorities in business plans, facilitate and coach team in development project timelines and key milestones. Other responsibilities include change management, business process analysis, strategic planning, and business plan development. He / she may also serve as the subject matter expert for various project teams that require the skills of this role.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree : Business Education
Experience in working with academic institutions.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare.
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Ability to be mobile minimum of 75% of time.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time without any degradation in the quality of work performed.
Proven success in relationship building and ability to understand and meet needs in exceptional manner.
Knowledge in the areas of conflict resolution, communication, project management, strategic planning, operational planning and deployment and customer satisfaction. Experience being self-directed with excellent time management and organizational skills.
MS Office application.
In-depth knowledge of academic offerings within clinical programs at academic institutions.

This role will collaborate with leaders in both targeted schools and OhioHealth care sites and entities.
This role develops strong relationships with assigned academic institutions to understand critical role programs and work with school leaders on opportunities within OhioHealth.
This role develops strong relationships within OhioHealth care sites and entities to facilitate opportunities for students.
This role assists in initiating and supporting standardized, exceptional experiences for the student that result in a strong connection to OhioHealth.
This role develops business plans specific to assigned academic institutions that align with the overall Workforce Development strategy.
This role develops clear pathways and programs for students as a part of system strategy.
This role will develop feedback mechanisms, including quarterly meetings, that will address issues and remove barriers that might inhibit student success at OhioHealth.
This role connects OhioHealth associates who are students or interns with opportunities to earn a debt-free degree in critical role areas.
This role will participate in and / or lead other projects as assigned.
This role will travel within assigned territory 60-80% of the time.
