Description
Summary : This position is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely billing. He / She may also be responsible for registering patients and initiating certification process for patient treatment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School or GED (Required)
Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance billing. Typing skills of 50-70 wpm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with public and patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. One to two years previous billing Experience in a medical office / hospital environment.
