POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Analyst will work with management to determine IT objectives to achieve organizational IT goals. The IT Analyst handles upgrades and install hardware and software, providing training and assistance where necessary. In addition, they must remain on top of current trends, understand technological developments happening internally and externally.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Install and configure hardware and software components.
- Upgrade systems to enable compatible software.
- Install and upgrade antivirus software.
- Test and evaluate new technology.
- Perform tests on new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and handle password issues.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Skilled in database programming and software installation
- Proficient with MAC and OS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of various range of software and hardware
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience troubleshooting systems
