POSITION SUMMARY:
This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
The Warehouse Clerk will work eight (8) hours a day for a minimum total of forty (40) hours per week. May be required to work weekends, holidays and may be required to work additional hours when the need arises.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style and color or product code.
- File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Enter physical inventory counts into system.
- Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Sweep, dust, and mop.
- Always keep warehouse and work area organized.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Process invoices from vendors.
- Process requisitions from Casino departments.
- Use the Purchasing systems.
- Research items to purchase.
- Call vendors to get updated delivery times.
- Create Purchase Orders
- Assist Purchasing/Warehouse Manager.
- Keep the purchase log up to date.
- All other duties assigned by the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year experience, computer knowledge and Micro Soft Office.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position work in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts box cutters and tap dispensers etc.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment during noise, and crowded situations.
