What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAGE MAINBANKER/SUPERVISOR position at Ohkay Hotel Casino?
The Cage Main Banker/Supervisor is responsible for interacting and assisting the Cash Shift Manager in an effective manner in the Cage Department. The Cage Main Banker/Supervisor will oversee the Cage Cashier and guest transactions while simultaneously protecting the company assets within the Cage, during an assigned shift. Prepared and accurately verifies all Casino exchanges, including but not limited to cashier transfers, cashiers’ banks, casino deposits, and casino drops. Guarantees confidentiality concerning cage operations, is pleasant, team oriented, and maintains stick attention to detail to ensure that all paperwork is accurate and complete.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for all Cage Cashiers and Cage activity in the absence of the Shift Manager.
- Responsible for counting and recording all Main Bank activities. Receiving and disbursement of funds, inventory all monetary items. Monitor ATM’s for depletion of funds. Daily drops on ATM’s as well as replenishing the cassettes.
- Responsible for ensuring that the supply of coin and currency is plentiful and adequate to meet the needs of the Casino. Forethought of upcoming events, holidays, or promotions is essential to ensure an adequate supply of coin and currency during the peak periods of business.
- Must document and summarize all Cage activity, increase and reductions.
- Daily balance of all banks, cashiers, and the Main Bank.
- Cash transfers (exchanging of TITO tickets, paper check/credit card, casino vouchers, mute currency and coin for cash), balancing the jetsort in the main Cage, receiving the slot drop, retail deposits and preparing deposits.
- Be familiar with other departments and know specific details about all promotional activities.
- Comply with all safety and emergency procedures.
- Perform other related duties when assigned.
EDUCATION:/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED/equivalent., with any combination of college education and work experience related to cage equivalent to one (1) year. Knowledge of administrative and supervisory techniques.
SKILLS:
