As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in winning and delivering major infrastructure projects. Your expertise in cost estimation and bid preparation will help drive our success.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets based on project specs, scope, and drawings.
- Conduct field visits to assess project conditions, verify production rates, and refine bidding strategies.
- Collaborate with teams to develop pricing strategies and secure the best deals with subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify project risks and recommend solutions to mitigate costs and delays.
- Utilize leading software tools like Primavera, HCSS, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and AGTEK for efficiency.
- Work closely with Business Development, Engineering, and Operations teams to submit winning bids.
- 8 years in structures fieldwork on large-scale transportation projects ($50M ) and 5 years in estimating projects over $50M.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experience with Primavera, HCSS, OST, and AGTEK is a plus.
- Strong grasp of estimating, engineering, cost tracking, and site surveying.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with precision.
- Comfortable engaging with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Previous experience bidding on FDOT projects is strongly preferred.
