We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing & Proposal Specialist in Miami, FL. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing overall support to the Marketing Department. They will execute and assist with the creation of client proposals, presentations, advertisements, and other marketing materials needed for marketing, execute social media efforts and the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives. They will report to the Senior Marketing and Proposal Manager, and the position will be based in OHLA Building’s Miami Headquarters.

Responsibilities
- Marketing Proposals and Presentations
- Coordinate the production of responses to RFQs, RFPs, award and affiliation applications.
- Includes research, writing, page layout, binding of proposals, and PowerPoint presentations
- Ensure deadlines are met and the various aspects of proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Coordinate appropriate marketing material for client meetings
- Execute and assist the creation of various advertisements for client sponsorship and other marketing materials needed
- Assist with Social Media efforts
- Attend quarterly meetings with the Senior Marketing and Proposal Manager to present upcoming quarter posts and social media goals as well as previous quarter analytics
- Creation and execution of monthly social media posts and captions
- Creation and implementation of marketing initiatives to be highlighted on all social media platforms
- Create and execute the quarterly internal Newsletter
- Create and execute monthly external email blasts
- Assist with other external and internal communications as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Adobe InDesign required AEC professional experience preferred not required
- Knowledge of construction industry and RFQ process preferred not required
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Candidate must display particularly strong and extensive writing experience and skills
- Writing samples may be requested throughout the interview process
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines at once
- Knowledge of graphic design skills a plus
