What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN position at Ohlinger Industries Inc?
Ohlinger Industries is a leader in component repair for the commercial and military aviation industries. The company is well established and has been operating in the Phoenix area for over 60 years.
We are currently looking for a skilled assembly technician to join our team. Main function is the removal and installation of hardware into aerospace components, such as liners, sleeves, studs, inserts, pins, and plugs.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to read, understand and work to shop routing instructions, sketch sheets and procedures
- Inspect your work accurately and complete paperwork correctly
- Perform limited dimensional and visual inspection of parts
- Skilled in the use of pneumatic power tools such as drills, die grinders, hand tools and Arbor Presses
- Basic use of hand and measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers & height gauges
- Willingness to expand skills through cross training and instruction
SCHEDULE
- Day Shift 6am - 4pm or Night Shift 3:45pm - 1:45am Available
- 10-hour Shift (Monday – Thursday)
- Opportunity for overtime may be available on an as needed basis
