What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors.
As part of our dynamic team, you will perform traffic engineering tasks for a wide variety of projects ranging in size and scope. Projects will require working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and technicians and will range from traffic studies to signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic as well as design/construction documents.
Your Responsibilities
- Familiarity with the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, ITE Trip Generation Manual, Roadside Design Guide, AASHTO "Green Book," and/or roadway design and highway lighting experience is a plus.
- Will be working with OpenRoads Designer, Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
- Knowledgeable in other software tools such as HCS, Transmodeler, and/or Synchro/SimTraffic is strongly desired.
- Experience with VISSIM, SIDRA, SignCAD, and AutoTurn are a plus.
- Also, experience with Ohio agencies, including ODOT, is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements:
Education, Experience & Licensure:
- Ohio Prof. Engineering License.
- Progressing towards licensure or possessing a PE license in the State of Ohio.
- 5 years' experience with Traffic engineering.
