As a Handyman at Ohm Restoration, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various restoration projects, repairs, and maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties that require versatility, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Your role will involve working closely with our project managers and other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs, maintenance, and installations in residential and commercial properties
- Assist in drywall, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Help with restoration projects, including painting, refinishing, and remodeling
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards, on time, and within budget
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
- Assist with project preparation and cleanup
- Occasionally help with demolition and construction tasks
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar trade (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary
- Ability to pass a background check
