Summary:
The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design and implement solutions as part of a statewide modernization initiative. This role will leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable applications.

Title: Business Intelligence Architect/Developer

Duration: 2 months contract (with possibility to extend 12 months)
Location: 460 Capitol Avenue Hartford, Connecticut 06106
Work Mode: Remote
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Create data models, user interfaces, workflows, and reports.
Analyze data to support and improve business processes.
Support enterprise integration efforts and connect Power Platform solutions with other systems.
Document end-user instructions and support defect remediation.
Use Azure DevOps for project tracking and Agile development.
Skills/Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (preferred).
3 years of experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Power BI).
1 year of experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud Services.
1 year in Agile development environment.
Knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions
