The Senior Systems Consultant will work within the Platform Engineering team of the City's Office of Innovation and Technology, focusing on modernizing and optimizing the Office365 platform. This includes guiding the use of tools like SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Power Apps, and other related applications. The role involves consultations, leading trainings, and fostering collaboration, while supporting team development and mentoring junior members.

Responsibilities :
Consult on the effective use of Office365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Apps.Lead and deliver Office365-related trainings to IT and business staff.Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Office365 applications and champion feature updates and changes.Guide the adoption of modern IT practices and an evergreen mentality for Office365 updates.Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing within the Platform Engineering team.Maintain collaborative relationships with IT staff across City departments.Attend meetings, consultations, and deliver reports on successes and blockers weekly.Support the team by curating documentation libraries and participating in DevOps-related initiatives.Skills / Qualifications :
Required :
Minimum 7 years of experience with Office365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and Power Apps.
At least 5 years of experience with PowerShell scripting, including code reviews and repository management.3 years of experience conducting consultations for diverse groups of clients, including technical and non-technical staff.Proven experience preparing and delivering Office365 trainings.Ability to independently track and complete tasks.Eligibility to complete an FBI background check for CJIS clearance.Completion of HIPAA compliance training as required by the City.Highly Desired / Preferred :
Experience with Microsoft's GCC licensing suite.
