Summary :
Seeking a Senior Software Tester with over 10 years of experience in automation and manual testing, specializing in designing and executing comprehensive test plans for complex applications. The role involves leading testing efforts, creating test frameworks, and ensuring quality assurance throughout the SDLC using Agile / Scrum methodologies. Strong expertise in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, and SQL is essential.

Responsibilities :
Design and execute manual and automation test plans for SIT and release testing.
Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts using BDD (Cucumber) or ATDD approaches.
Conduct frontend and backend testing, including SIT and UAT support.
Plan, create, and control test environments while adhering to quality standards.
Lead structured walk-throughs, peer reviews, and coordinate release testing efforts.
Mentor junior testers and ensure adherence to testing methodologies.
Skills / Qualifications :
Extensive experience with manual and automated testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance).
10 years of experience developing automation tests in Selenium (TestNG).
8 years of experience with Selenium / SOAPUI.
5 years of experience with Cucumber BDD and relational databases.
Strong proficiency in Java, XML, and writing SQL queries.
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla) and Jenkins for build processes.
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
Proven ability to communicate and document business and technical requirements.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Java OOP for automation frameworks.
DevOps knowledge and problem-solving skills for complex business processes.
Ability to work independently and maintain system documentation.
Education :
A degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is preferred.
