Summary :

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support fixed asset processing, month-end journal entries, and year-end audit preparations. The role involves clearing backlog errors in the fixed asset system and ensuring proper movement of work orders through general ledger accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly accurate, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.

Duration : 2.5 months
Location : 1 Water St, Camden, NJ 08102
Work Mode : Onsite

Responsibilities :

Assist in processing and clearing errored retirements in the fixed asset system.

Record month-end journal entries accurately and timely.

Gather and compile data for year-end audit requests.

Ensure proper movement of fixed asset work orders through general ledger accounts.

Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies or escalate as needed.

Skills / Qualifications :

2 4 years of accounting experience.

Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to assess and resolve issues effectively.

Strong problem-solving, planning, and multitasking skills.

College degree in accounting preferred.
