Responsibilities :
Research design and implement software programs for mainframe systems.
Write and test efficient code while resolving softwarerelated issues and recommending improvements.
Collaborate with developers UX designers business analysts and system analysts.
Support mainframe migration and modernization initiatives.
Maintain and enhance system integration between mainframe and Java applications.
Skills / Qualifications :
Proficiency in JCL COBOL VSAM MQ and CICS.
Strong experience in Java for mainframe integration (familiarity with JZOS and IBM JavaClassGenerator is required).
Expertise in REXX and SAS scripting for automation and data manipulation.
Experience in mainframe migration projects performance tuning and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with mainframe communication protocols such as CICS and MQ and security protocols including RACF.
Minimum of 812 years of relevant experience.
Bachelors degree in a related field (or an additional four years of relevant experience if the degree is in a different field).
