Responsibilities :
Design develop and manage mainframe software programs.
Write test and optimize code while resolving softwarerelated issues.
Collaborate with developers UX designers and business analysts to improve system functionality.
Support and maintain mainframe application development and integration.
Ensure adherence to mainframe security protocols and communication processes.
Skills / Qualifications :
Proficiency in JCL COBOL VSAM MQ and CICS.
Expertise in REXX and SAS scripting for automation and data manipulation.
Experience in mainframe application development and support including communication tools and RACF security protocols.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
Minimum of 812 years of relevant experience.
Bachelors degree in a related field or additional four years of relevant experience if the degree is unrelated.
Preferred :
Experience with DevOps practices on mainframes.
Familiarity with MQ and Apache Kafka.
Performance tuning of mainframe systems.
Experience in documenting mainframe operations and applications
