OHOS Hospitality, LLC is seeking a well-organized and experienced HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER who is eager to go above and beyond to join our team. The position includes overall management of a 46-unit property located in Ocean Springs, MS.
os1515 Downtown is a locally owned and operated destination, which includes the OS Hotel, a 32-room boutique hotel with 1,500 SF event space, and Lofts1515, a 14-unit condominium with short-term rentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quality of all guest experiences and quality assurance.
- Functions as a property liaison to the individual condominium owners.
- Oversee all aspects of housekeeping, linen procurement, laundry services, all vendors agreements, and quality assurance to maintain our top tier standards.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring organization, efficiency, and inventory control.
- Act as the primary liaison between housekeeping, laundry, and quality assurance vendors to optimize service levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations, enhance efficiencies, and add value to our luxury property portfolio.
- Conduct property inspections to guarantee our best-in-class cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ensure the level of experience, knowledge and ability to properly meet job requirements of all hotel staff.
- Train and supervise employees regarding operating procedures, emergency management and risk mitigation policies.
- Lead and mentor staff, implementing strategies to enhance performance and workflow.
- Develop a high level of employee morale and loyalty to the company to reduce turnover.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support the company’s operational success.
- Work closely with the executive team, providing regular updates on performance and operational needs.
- Development of operating budget which will serve as an operating plan and define required levels of achievement.
- Assure achievement of annual budget in revenues, costs and profits through accounting diligence and expenditure controls and proficient accounting practices.
- Monthly forecasting of operating staff and cost expenditures
- Operation planning aligned with forecasted sales and costs including guidance to staff.
- Monthly review of financial statements with ownership including strict cost control and forecasting for future business.
- Review and approve all expenses in all departments.
- Review cost controls and assure adherence to budget at all times in order to protect the hotel's interests
- Assess and implement risk mitigation policies and procedures to protect the interests of the company.
- Promote outside sales and group bookings for the on-site event space.
- Coordinate with third party vendors and guests for use of the event space.

- Proven experience in hotel operations, vacation rental management and/or luxury hospitality operations.
- Experience in outside group sales, corporate bookings, and event space marketing
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills and qualifications:
· 5 years of experience as a hotel manager, hotel operations manager or a similar role.
· Experience managing a luxury or high-end hotel.
· Demonstrated success in managing regular operations, including guest experience and operational performance.
· Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, condominium owners, staff members and vendors.
· Ability to resolve problems quickly, such as guest complaints or staff conflicts.
· A discerning eye for detail to monitor all aspects of the hotel’s operations.
· Strong leadership skills, problem-solving understanding and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
· Strong written professional communication skills
· Excellent sales and marketing acumen with great interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Revenue management and booking engine software experience
· A results-driven mindset with a commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence
