Your Role
The South Carolina Business Development Director recruits PCPs to join Oasis Health’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO), enabling them to spend more time focused on preventative care for the patients who need it most and to be compensated for improvements in the quality, experience and total cost of care for their patients.
As the South Carolina Business Development Director, you will:
- Collaborate with Oasis leadership to refine and execute an aggressive provider recruiting plan leveraging the full Oasis team to rapidly achieve targeted growth
- Establish trusted relationships across the state with PCPs, office staff and care teams by leveraging existing contacts, engaging with primary care governance organizations and cold calling prospective PCP groups
- Grow and maintain a rigorous pipeline resulting in consistently achieving PCP enrollment goals in Oasis’ ACO
- Drive enrollment with Oasis’s ACO throughout rural Iowa and potentially adjacent geographies.
- Gather market feedback and represent the voice of the PCP to help refine offerings and ensure Oasis is positioned as best-in-class
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the Oasis Health culture within the market and across the company
About You
- You have a proven track record of results recruiting physicians or selling products and services directly to physicians while having to influence multiple additional stakeholders
- You understand the different types of health insurance, and have a basic knowledge of value-based care; preferably with experience in primary care, senior care, and Medicare Advantage
- You thrive in uncovering physician and practice needs and enabling them to improve
- You are proficient at tracking progress in a CRM and utilizing all available resources to achieve your goals
- You are action oriented, love challenges and critical thinking.
- You are adept at reaching across lanes in a matrixed organization to optimize your sales results
- Excellent communicator and influencer with the ability to build relationships
- You understand compliance laws and regulations regarding sales within healthcare
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years selling directly to physicians and their teams
- Must be able to travel extensively by car in state approximately 80-90% of the time
