Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized dining area while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our quality standards.
- Provide recommendations for menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient service flow.
- Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and menu knowledge.
Skills
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or OpenTable is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and food service operations.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
