You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating 3-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision parts for Aerospace, Medical, Automotive and Telecommunications industries.
Job Description
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machining centres and various models of CNC milling machines with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD drawings
- Adjust and optimize CNC programs (G-code, M-code)
- Select and set up tooling and work holding solutions
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to optimize processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100/Other Quality Standards
- Work to tight tolerances and ensure the quality of output by inspecting your own work.
- 3 years of experience in 3-axis CNC machining preferable
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming
- Experience with Mazak, DMG Mori, Chiron machines desired but not essential
- Familiarity with Hypermill Software desired but not essential
- Familiarity with Heidenheim controllers desired but not essential
- Ability to inspect parts using callipers, micrometres, and CMMs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
