About the Job
The project accountant manages subcontractor payments, change orders, bookkeeping, and working with teams to ensure alignment across all accounting functions.
Primary Duties
- Monthly reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Assists with identifying risks and maintaining internal control processes
- Responsible for Lien waiver and draw process management
- Utility management
- Issuing and managing subcontracts and change orders using Procore Construction Software
- Interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization
- Create monthly project reports while reporting timely and accurate status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Data Entry

Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- 2 plus years of experience in construction accounting is preferred
- Displays strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Procore, and NetSuite.
- Lead experience in buyout, budget management, subcontractor/owner billing, and scheduling
