Responsibilities
Grant Research and Identification
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with OIC of America's programs and initiatives.
- Stay informed about funding trends, grant cycles, and eligibility criteria.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather relevant information for grant proposals.
- Write clear, compelling, and well-structured grant proposals that adhere to application guidelines and deadlines.
- Customize proposals to align with the specific goals and priorities of different funding entities.
- Oversee the end-to-end grant application process, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission.
- Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, tracking submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and follow-up tasks.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential funding partners, including foundations, government agencies, and corporate donors.
- Collaborate with the development team to explore new funding opportunities and diversify funding sources.
- Ensure compliance with grant terms and reporting requirements.
- Ensure grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports, showcasing the impact of OIC of America's programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of successful grant writing for non-profit organizations
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using tools for contact information research and validation.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
