Your Key Role:
- Train and mentor environmental services staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, provide feedback, and encourage collaboration.
- Oversee the daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulatory standards, including infection control protocols.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reordering as necessary.
- Monitor and manage the department’s budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure the facility adheres to all state, federal, and local regulations related to environmental safety and sanitation.
- Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and infection control practices.

What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in environmental services or management preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
