What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Oil Re-Refining Company, Inc.?
IOI Operator Responsibilities:
Monitor petroleum re-refining equipment including cook tanks and boilers under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Keep watch on the plant equipment and parked vehicles, making regular inspections of the facility throughout the night.
Observe all established safety and compliance protocols.
Must be able to perform physically demanding work including climbing up and down tanks, lifting and dragging hoses and moving heavy barrels with a barrel dolly.
Forklift experience preferred, but must have the ability to learn basic forklift operation.
Cleaning and minor maintenance of the facility and equipment.
Load and unload tanker trucks and box vans as needed.
Document all production and maintenance work in corresponding logbooks.
Benefits:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour to start DOE, wage scale reviewed after 90 days. PTO time, health/dental insurance provided after 90 days, simple IRA after 1 year. Mon-Fri days, weekends off. Avg. 40 hour work week.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to Lift, Pull and Push a Minimum of 50 lbs.
- A Valid Driver’s License
Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
