Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Shipping/Receiving Clerk I in Lampasas, TX to verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull parts according to purchase order, packing list, or sales order.
- Box parts per purchase order, packing list, or sales order.
- Package and label products per sales order or traveler.
- Maintain warehouse work area.
- Loads and /or unloads trucks as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level.
- Good driving record
- Basic verbal and written communication skills, able to follow verbal and written directions and procedures.
- Basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to follow safe work practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing and pulling.
- Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees
