WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN II
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK
- Safely pull all necessary parts from the warehouse to assemble the order as documented on the pick list.
- Stage pulled orders with all necessary parts in preparation for the next stage of the assembly process.
- Safely stock parts as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor according to documented part number and bin location.
- Safely and efficiently operate stand-up forklift to perform duties such as stocking, pulling, and moving palletized components within the facility.
- Provide appropriate information for the inventory tracking system as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assists with training other warehouse personnel as needed.
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
- Support the maintenance of shop equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties.
- Complete all paperwork in required manner and time.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change.
- Follow and support established HSE programs.
- Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team member if necessary.
- All other duties or tasks as assigned.
- Ability to identify part numbers and safely stock shelves.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to speak, write and read English.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Two (2) years warehouse experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must obtain and maintain active certification to operate a Class II forklift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Constant lifting, kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing.
- Frequent use of computer equipment to include but not limited to laptop computer, monitors, keyboard, mouse, scanner, and printer.
- Frequent use of company designated software programs to include but not limited to ERP, employee time tracking software, and office productivity software packages.
- Frequent use of Class II forklifts and manual lift equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Directly impacts workplace safety through active participation in OSI-OKC Piper HSE programs and safe work practices.
- Indirectly impacts quality and safe operations in the field by ensuring the correct components are pulled from inventory and provided to Assembly as stated on the work orders.
- Indirectly impacts customer satisfaction through product quality and on-time delivery.
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
