Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Molder I Night Shift for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location in our organization, the Molder I Night Shift has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Prepares and operates molding press to process/produce a high-quality product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to adhere to brake duration and return to work station promptly.
- Checks press for tonnage, mold, and preheaters for temperature.
- Cuts/prepares material for molding at the press.
- Loads preforms/extrusions into the preheater.
- Loads preforms /extrusions into the mold.
- Operates press according to job specifications.
- Cleans up around press/work area during cure time.
- Unload parts from the mold.
- Inspects parts for flaws/seeks corrective action if needed.
- Completes all required "trimming at the press".
- Cleans mold and equipment in preparation for the next shot.
- Records time and work on Labor Ticket each day.
- Communicates all production/press related information to next shift Press Operator or shift Supervisor
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Moves molding material from the staging area to press line
- Assists in training of new workers
- Relieves and fill-ins during lunch breaks
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
- This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
