What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extruder I position at OilStates Industries?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Prepare various rubber compounds for use in molding by extruding them into the proper shape, size, and weight as per the job specifications. Proper extruding is the key to producing quality parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extrudes various rubber compounds by feeding the mill to strip.
- Change out dies.
- Stack and/or box cut material in boxes or pallets.
- Clean and organize work area.
- Dink rubber material using roller cutter.
- Clock in using Mercury.
- Work safely.
- Prepare labor tickets.
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.

- Exposure to extreme weather conditions/heat for more than an hour
