What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector I position at OilStates Industries?
Ensures products produced meet Customer/OSIBH requirements and will assist in determining critical characteristics of products/material that they will be inspecting and be able to report and identify findings related to Acceptability and Non-Conformance of what they are inspecting.
Performs in-process and final inspections by visually and dimensionally using required instruments per Customer/OSIBH requirements.
Assist performing necessary test in-accordance to Customer/OSIBH requirements.
Perform first piece inspections on products on the shop floor working around machinery and possible chemicals
Complete reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accurately.
Assist in issuing NCR’s through OSIBH NCP Web System.
Maintain 5S in assigned work area.
Adhere to “JSA’s” Job Safety Analysis requirements.
Performs other duties as required.
Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
