Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Mandrel Inspector for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location in our organization, the Mandrel Inspector has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Records and transfers the traceability numbers throughout the CNC process and inspecting the cores for damage. Keeps production mandrels supplied with parts. Completes the pre-machine mandrel inspection and documents all mandrels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up and operates appropriate tools for the job.
- Completes related paperwork for serial number traceability.
- Completes pre-machine mandrel inspections.
- Completes all documentation.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Meets production quotas.
- Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.

- Knowledge and comprehension of job related paperwork
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Familiar with hand tools, bench equipment
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Must write legibly
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Moderate physical effort required
- Prolonged standing
- Regularly required to use hands
- Push, pull and Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Seeing to distinguish colors and to visually inspect items
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to smoke/dust

- This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
