Remote Journey Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Journey Planner to design and organize seamless travel experiences tailored to our clients' preferences and interests. As a Journey Planner, you will be responsible for crafting personalized itineraries, managing bookings, and ensuring that every aspect of the journey meets or exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Itinerary Development
• Plan and design customized travel itineraries that include transportation, accommodations, activities, and dining options
• Research and incorporate unique experiences and hidden gems to enhance trips
• Client Consultation
• Work closely with clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, and budgets
• Provide professional advice on destinations, attractions, and travel logistics
• Booking Management
• Handle all aspects of booking, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tours
• Ensure all reservations are confirmed and align with the client’s requirements
• Travel Assistance
• Provide clients with travel documents, itineraries, and essential information about their destinations
• Offer support for any last-minute changes or emergencies during the journey
• Vendor Collaboration
• Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, tour operators, and local guides
• Negotiate rates and secure exclusive offers for clients
• Market Research
• Stay updated on travel trends, destination highlights, and industry developments
• Recommend new destinations or experiences based on current trends
  

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus)
• Experience: preffered, not required
• 1-3 years of experience in travel planning, customer service, or a related field
• Familiarity with booking tools and travel management systems is preferred
• Skills:
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences
• Proficiency in travel planning software and basic computer applications
