Bachoco USA is seeking a Breeder/Broiler Scheduler for our Fort Smith, AR location
Summary: Main duties are scheduling chick placements and kill scheduling in addition to various administrative duties to provide support to the Live Services Department as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Scheduling Farms for Chick placement
- Scheduling farms for kill
- Weekly Budget; working with other departments to collect all the necessary data.
- Maintains, compiles and files paperwork
- Updates/prints the training sheets for the Supervisors
- Records all training in the document register while working with the Supervisors to ensure all employees are trained properly
- Organizes luncheons
- Handling incoming/outgoing calls, correspondence.
- Updating, faxing, photocopying, processing and filing of all documents
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the office
- Compiles and enters data for daily and weekly reports (often uses MTech, Excel and Word to create spreadsheets and graphs)
- Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities
- Preparing business correspondence (often using word processing, spreadsheets and presentation computer software)
- Record notes of meetings, projects, follow-ups and scheduling
- Assist Managers and Supervisors as needed
- Occasional after hour duties as needed

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
