Maintenance Planner
Albertville Plant I
1st Shift 7:00a- 4:00p

Position Summary: Plans and coordinates all planned maintenance activities performed on location. Incumbent develops planned work for the weekly work schedule. Anticipates and eliminates potential delays by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
- Consider safety when developing job plans, workorders, PM’s, etc...
- Create and print PM’s
- Schedule and assign PM’s based on tech availability and equipment assignment.
- Verify/audit PM’s as required by department manager.
- Track and communicate all applicable maintenance licensing, renewals, and equipment inspections with management.
- Create workorders in MP2
- Estimate labor hours required to perform work.
- Assign workorders and enter data (parts used) upon completion
- Review workorder feedback information to improve future planning efforts.
- Computer usage/data entry:
- Data entry & pull reports from SAP & MP2
- Outlook – email
- Excel – spreadsheets.
- Reconcile/audit maintenance parts and equipment inventory as required by department manager.
- Liaison between management and contractors when scheduling work in the plant or on company property.
- Seek advice from the Maint. Manager on matters outside of knowledge or authority.
- Develop, modify, and/or maintain a downtime matrix to assist in reporting downtime problem areas with part usage that is beyond normal wear and tear.
- Other duties as assigned.
