Job Title: 1st Shift - Parts Attendant Lead

Dept: 118 Plant 1 Maintenance

Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $ 17.50 per hour.

Summary Handles all purchasing and inventory, also handles the receipt and disbursement of parts by performing the following duties for the Heavener facilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Receives parts into the department.


Fills orders or issues parts from stock.


Maintains inventory and other stock records.


Places stock in its proper place.


Completes all work orders.


Purchases parts and equipment.


Keeps up with capital or major repair projects.


Runs reports on parts usage for equipment.


Keeps budget numbers.


Maintains inventory.


Calls vendors for parts availability.


Receives parts and equipment.


This is a safety sensitive position.


Supervisory Responsibilities


Assists the supervisor in overseeing 2 to 7 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees.

Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

BILINGUAL PREFERED.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
