Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Tech

Shift: 1st Shift

Scheduled Hours: 4:30am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: *$23.25-*$30.75 (*Includes Attendance Incentive)

Job Duties: Installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration machinery and equipment by performing the following duties according to skill levels and classifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Repairs and maintains spiral freezers, engine room, air units on the roof, boilers, compressors, CO2 system, air pressure in the plant, batter coolness, hot water heaters, chilled water, and plant temperatures. Handles defrost on spiral freezers, shipping freezer, cooler, and plant. Monitors temperatures in spiral freezers, shipping freezer, cooler, and in the plant. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery in refrigeration and spiral freezers. Fills out logbooks. Performs written checks on the boilers for OSHA. Assists contractors. Operates power equipment such as scissor lift or forklift to move and install parts, motors, etc. Must pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for O.K. Foods. Complies with all safety and food safety policies and regulations. All other duties assigned. This is a safety sensitive position.
