Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
-Identify evidence-based interventions and proper data collection procedures to support academic success.
- Implement interventions that promote social-emotional learning and positive behavior in the classroom.
- Engage in evidence-based practices to enhance educational outcomes for all students.
- Support students with developmental disabilities by creating tailored strategies that foster their academic growth.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address the needs of students with diverse backgrounds, including those in special education.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and strategies for supporting at-risk youth.
- Familiarity with IEP development processes and special education laws.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources.
