Responsibilities

Okaloosa Youth Academy is a non-secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males located in Crestview, FL. The mission of Okaloosa Youth Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of troubled youth. Okaloosa employs dedicated professionals whose goals are to help youth develop competencies valued by the community through therapeutic and educational programming in a secure, structured environment and to promote successful transition into the community.

We are currently seeking a Transition Specialist (Case Management Supervisor) The Transition Specialist functions as an active part of the treatment team.

1. Facilitate community relationships to assist in developing transitional programming.

2. Facilitate community relationships with self-help groups within the youth’s local community.

3. Supervises case managers to include over-site of group schedules, chart audits, treatment teams, and all other case management duties.

Continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to adolescent boys ranging in age 13 through 18.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous related working experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass DJJ background screen and pre-employment drug screen

Salary : $11,000 - $42,000
