Overview
The Senior Conference Service Manager is a leadership position whose main role is to be a liaison between the Group’s main contact and the Sales Department. This individual’s primary goal is to ensure the success of the meeting and event specifications as contracted by the client. They will work closely with the client during the pre-planning phase of the program and be on site during the event to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction. The Senior Manager of Events must have a creative flare to suggest program enhancements for a memorable attendee experience, striving to earn the loyalty of the client for future business. They must work closely with operational departments in advance and during the event to communicate all details and share expectations, ensuring a successful event & positive experience for all attendees. The post meeting follow-up is extremely important regarding billing and feedback. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of hotel sales or event services experience.
- Customer focused attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and resort POS & PMS systems.
- Confident and professional appearance.
- Adept problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in dealing with challenging situations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as a team with co-workers.
- Sound time management skills; Being able to work on multiple projects.
- Creativity in designing events that are trendy surpass customer expectations.
