Overview :

An exciting opportunity awaits you to join the pre-opening team as a Senior Sales Manager at stunning OKANA Resort and Waterpark. Youll have the opening to demonstrate your sales skills as the resort becomes a transformational addition to the Oklahoma City hospitality landscape.

The Senior Sales Manager is a specialist in booking leisure and wholesale groups for the hotel. They must have a keen sense of the market, fully understanding the seasonality of the high demand periods and how the segment compliments other group and transient business. This position will have a booking goal that will include new group bookings and repeat business from previous clients. They must fully understand hotel operations to ensure that commitments are made, which result in positive guest experiences. This position requires participation in active sales solicitation, uphold company sales policies and selling techniques with emphasis on maximizing occupancy and ADR; networking through participation in community and professional associations, activities and events. Qualifications :

• 3 years of previous hotel sales experience.
• High school degree required; associates / bachelors degree preferred
• Personality to work closely with prospective clients to negotiate contracts .
• Business communication skills including preparing RFPs and contracts for clients.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Computer proficiency in Word, excel, and PowerPoint.
• Present a professional appearance and personality to confidently interact with clients and hotel team members.
• Ability to manage time to meet needs of clients
• Effective computer with clients and hotel team
