We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented experienced veterinary technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player, works well with the veterinarians and other team members.

Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of veterinary technician experience
- Surgery technician or surgery experience required
- Must be able to perform venipuncture
- Must have experience in anesthetic induction, maintenance, and monitoring
- Must be able to place I.V. catheters efficiently
- Must be familiar with veterinary terminology and anatomy
- Must be familiar with specimen collecting for lab submission
- Must be able to handle and restrain animals
- Must be able to maintain accurate medical records, both written and electronic
- Must be able to clearly communicate with clients, doctors, and staff
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs unassisted
The hourly pay rate for this position starts at $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
