Job Description:-

·      Lead and guide a team of data engineers, help with troubleshooting, task prioritization, and ensure the successful completion of data pipeline projects

·      Automate data wrangling from a wide variety of sources (flat files, remote servers, databases, legacy systems, message queues, APIs and more)

·      Take ownership of larger or more complex data projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and timely delivery, while supporting other team members on their tasks

·      Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs, ensuring that data pipelines and processes meet operational requirements and support business analytics.

·      Leverage many technologies and methodologies as required—including scripting and programming languages

·      Assist in the preparation, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning/artificial intelligence data pipelines 

YOU MUST HAVE

·       Bachelor’s degree

·    9 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related field

·       Proficiency in IBM DataStage or equivalent data integration tool

·       Ability in developing, deploying, and maintaining data processes and pipelines in Python

·       2 years of experience in hybrid cloud environments

·       Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to build and orchestrate code in numerous ways to support analytics deployment

·       Effective interpersonal skills, with positive professional verbal and written skills

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

·    Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

·    IBM Data Engineer certification

·    Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

·    Effective project management and planning skills
