OKCYC is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and motivated individuals to join our team as Youth Guidance Specialists in our residential treatment program. If you have a strong work ethic and a heart for guiding and uplifting some of Oklahoma’s most complex youth, this is your chance to make a difference!
As a Youth Guidance Specialist, you will work closely with a diverse group of youth, each with unique backgrounds and needs. This includes individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, disruptive and defiant behaviors, mental health struggles, substance use challenges, and those with juvenile justice involvement. Your role will be to provide structure, guidance, and support, helping them develop the skills and resilience needed for a brighter future.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Assist in day-to-day activities of residential programming.
- Lead group activities.
- Supervise adolescent teens.
- Engage in healthy relationships.
- Support teens in developing essential daily living skills, from communication to self-care.
- Provide adequate care.
- Oversee safety & security.
- Complete daily documentation requirements.
- Mentor youth in a positive manner.
- Communicate with the program director.
- Be appropriately involved in the community.
- Be a positive co-worker and work together as a team to provide the best supports to the youth.

Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
