Meal Route Driver - On-Call - $15.48/hr
On-Call Meal Route Driver to fill in for regular route drivers - as needed - to deliver hot meals, using County provided vehicle, Monday through Friday to qualified persons age 60 and above within Okeechobee County. When called upon to work, hours will roughly be from 9:30am - 3:00pm. No guarantee of a certain number of hours. Driver is responsible to report any concerns observed or expressed by those to whom they delivered a meal. Driver reports directly to the Senior Services Client Services Coordinator, and/or Program Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or acceptable equivalency - MUST SUBMIT WITH APPLICATION.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with safe driving record.
- Able to pass a Level II background check.
Position is subject to Drug Screening.
