Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various framing techniques, particularly new construction wood framing, and will be responsible for constructing and erecting frameworks for barndominiums. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Framer will play a crucial role in ensuring that structures are built to specifications and meet building codes.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Construct and install wood framing for walls, ceilings, and other structures.
- Erect metal buildings according to design specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform installation of sheet metal as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or as a Framer is required.
- Familiarity with barndominium framing techniques is essential.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction site operations.
- Experience with installation processes related to various building materials.
- Background as a carpenter or similar trade is advantageous.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
