Utility Line Locator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Utility Line Locator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately locating underground utility lines to ensure safe excavation and construction practices. This role requires a strong understanding of utility locating techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and collaborate effectively with field service teams.

Duties

• Conduct thorough utility line locating using specialized equipment and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints to identify the location of underground utilities.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure safe excavation practices are followed.
• Perform field surveys to gather data on utility locations and conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of utility locations and any changes made during projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in utility locating or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Familiarity with field service operations and cabling techniques.
• Knowledge of construction site protocols and safety measures.
• Experience in Land Survey, helpful, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
