Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ServiceNow Administrator to maintain and optimize our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day platform administration, managing requests and enhancements, and supporting users across multiple ServiceNow modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, role assignment, and module access.
- Configure and maintain forms, fields, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications.
- Support modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Monitor system performance and scheduled jobs; troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
- Assist in implementing platform updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Create and maintain platform documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
- Provide support to end users and act as the first line of defense for platform issues.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business users to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with ITIL best practices.
- Perform regular audits and reviews to maintain system hygiene and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining core ServiceNow modules.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and workflows.
- Experience with user and group management, ACLs, and form/table configuration.
- Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide) for simple business logic and automation.
- Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required or in progress.
- Experience with Service Catalog, CMDB, or HRSD modules is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of stories/tasks in ServiceNow.
- Understanding of MID Servers and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
