Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, establishing best practices, and ensuring the platform aligns with business objectives and ITIL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural planning, roadmap development, and technical strategy for the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and oversee implementation of modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, and custom applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define and enforce ServiceNow governance, development standards, and best practices.
- Oversee data integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, or Integration Hub.
- Guide development teams and review solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Own platform upgrades, patching strategy, and instance health monitoring.
- Ensure CMDB integrity, automation policies, and discovery configuration support service visibility and change control.
- Mentor ServiceNow developers and administrators to build internal competencies.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and provide recommendations to expand platform value.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with ServiceNow including 3 years in an architect or lead developer role.
- Strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, etc.).
- Proven experience in designing complex workflows, data models, and integrations.
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise service management principles.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, performance optimization, and security practices.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale implementations and managing development teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CMDB, or ITOM).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring tools, identity platforms (e.g., Azure AD), and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines.
