Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: Competitive pay based on education and/or experience and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Position:
This position assists in administering the firm's Non-conforming Event, Adverse Event, Process Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Action and Customer complaint systems. This includes detecting, investigating, tracking, trending and reporting failures and progress with these systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; B.S. in a chemical, biological, physical, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution preferred, or must complete a Bachelor's degree in a timeframe agreeable with management or equivalent experience. MT(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) preferred
- Blood/Donor Center experience desired
- Demonstrates command of correct grammar in oral and written communication
- Flexible schedule
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in group settings to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information.
- Familiarity with FDA and AABB requirements desired
- Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgement and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
- Skill in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action.
- Ability to collect and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in ensuring that the firm has adequate methods and systems in place to detect non-conforming events, products and services to include deviations from approved policies, processes or procedures.
- Take immediate action upon the discovery of non-conforming events, products and services.
- Quarantine and recall products as required.
- Notify consignees of distributed products or services that are non-conforming.
- Take appropriate steps to determine the final disposition of non-conforming products.
- Investigate reportable and near-miss events.
- Ensure that records of non-conforming events are created and maintained.
- Report Biological Product Deviation Reports as required.
- Ensure that root causes of events are identified and corrective and preventive action plans are developed.
- Ensure that corrective action plans are monitored to determine effectiveness.
- Code non-conforming events.
- Assist in the investigation and release of products placed in Quarantine.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to urgent product issues.
